When dinner is thirty minutes away and the bottle you just opened needs more than a quick swirl, the Menu Wine Breather earns its place at the table. You press the wide-bowl decanter onto the bottle, flip the whole thing upside down and watch the entire contents cascade through in under two minutes — no pouring, no guesswork. What comes out is wine that has actually had room to open up, with the acidity softened and the aroma fuller than it would be straight from the bottle. The lead-free glass is clean and architectural, and the decanter holds 48 ounces, meaning a full bottle with a little headroom for the wine to breathe.

There’s also a practical flexibility here that most decanters don’t offer: once the wine has aerated, you can serve directly from the carafe or flip the system back and return the wine to the original bottle for serving or storing. It travels well between the kitchen and the table and makes a considered gift for anyone who opens wine regularly but doesn’t want to fuss with timing.

Best For

  • Opening a tannic red 20 minutes before guests arrive without having to remember to do it an hour ahead
  • Giving a host gift that is immediately useful and looks deliberate on a counter or bar cart
  • Pouring a mid-week bottle that you want to actually taste — not just drink
  • Returning leftover wine to the bottle after aeration so nothing goes to waste

Features

  • Inverted-bottle attachment mechanism: The decanter mounts directly onto the bottle opening via a stainless steel collar and seal — you flip the whole bottle upside down and gravity pulls the wine through the carafe in a hands-free cascade. No separate pouring step required.
  • Wide, flat bowl maximizes surface exposure: The broad, shallow carafe shape spreads wine across a large surface area as it flows through, which drives the aeration effect rather than relying on time alone.
  • Two-way serving flexibility: Once aerated, wine can be served directly from the carafe, or the bottle can be re-attached and inverted again to transfer the wine back — useful when guests prefer pouring from a familiar bottle or when storing leftover wine.
  • 48 oz capacity accommodates a full standard bottle with room for the cascade
  • Lead-free glass throughout
  • 12 inches tall; the assembled bottle-and-carafe silhouette is a visible conversation piece on a table
  • Stainless steel collar creates the bottle-to-decanter seal and is visible as a finished accent at the joint

Works exactly like it's supposed to

Works like a charm, I was worried about leakage but there was none. Much easier way to decant and aerate all in one.

Works like a charm!

Bought this for our daughter’s birthday. Amazed at how well this works and how easy it is to use.

Works great and is an awesome conversation starter

We have two of these decanters and they're awesome. First, it's pretty unique and gets a lot of attention which helps people ask a lot of questions about why oxygen is bad for wine in the beginning, but good for wine when you open the bottle. Second, when decanting an older red, I'll pour from the bottle into the decanter to not stir up any grit or sludge and then, once I rinse the bottle out, decant back into the bottle. I'll then put a decorative aerator into the bottle because I much prefer to pour from a bottle than from a decanter.

Loved it!

Loved this! Bought as a gift but plan to buy another for myself.

Thumbs up

Saw it used at a party and wondered about it. Tried at a party and works terrific. Don’t have to have multiple decanters out and try to keep track of which wine is in which bottle
