Wine Check Complete Set Red (P/N 3768). Your wine is protected by Wine Check's patent-pending design, that encloses your wine in the included wine shipper box inside the secure padded case. The bag is lightweight (under 5 lbs.) and the attached wheels and strap make it easy to roll behind you.

When packed with 12 bottles, The Wine Check stays under the 50 lb. airline weight limit for luggage!

The Wine Check is collapsible and reusable, so you can store it and use it whenever you want to take wine with you. Whether you are purchasing wine on a vacation or want to take some on a trip, The Wine Check makes traveling with wine safe and easy and costs less then shipping it!

The Wine Check Complete Set includes The Wine Check Bag, 12-bottle styrofoam case, cardboard shipper box, and reusable 3oz cold pack.

If you purchase the bag only, the best places to look for a wine shipper box are offsite wine storage facilities, since they receive so many 12-pack shipper boxes for their clients. Be sure to call ahead first. Also, local chain liquor and wine stores will sell 12-pack shipper boxes in the back of the store. Also, larger wine shops often have 12-pack shipper boxes that they are happy to unload for free or a small price.

According to the manufacturer, the Wine Check fits nearly ALL wine shipper boxes and inserts (they've yet to find one that doesn't fit). The preferred, and most common, shipper box size is 18.5 x 14 x 16 inches.

While nearly all of the lay-down, pulp wine shippers will fit in The Wine Check, some airlines REQUIRE Styrofoam.
Don't Ship Your Wine, Check It! The Wine Check is a safe, convenient, and economical way to ship up to one case (12 bottles) of wine to and from where ever you travel, in an FAA-approved package!

Great bag for traveling

We ordered this bag for a cross country trip. It is a convenient way to transport wine, although I would like to see another design that does not use a box to store the wine in.

All in all a good purchase.

Red Wine Tote

I purchased the complete set. The tote is light and sturdy. The insert is a must. I would have preferred a hard extendable handle instead of the strap for rolling. The strap was a little awkward to use.

Also I would like to see this same unit offered in a six bottle size.

Wine Check

Really useful carrier! We have taken this on a Caribbean Cruise and several trips from Wine Country and also International. In fact, we have just given this as Christmas Gifts for our European Relatives who delighted in being able to take wine back to their home.

Wine Tote

We live in AK and our sons live in California, thus we have used this bag several times and all our wine/beer has made it safely home. We like it so much that we recently bought a second bag so one is with us and one is with our boys - that way we get wine more often :) I didn't give the bag 5 stars simply because the wheels/pulling strap are not good. The bag is not easy for me to pull because the wheel are, well pretty lousy. The bag is even more difficult for my 6 foot husband and sons to pull as the strap is very short. BUT as I said not a single bottle has been damaged.

Works just as advertised!

We took our new bright red wine tote on its maiden voyage when we visited Spain last week. It worked like a champ. It is very light when empty, which is very helpful since we were concerned about the weight when full. Fortunately a full case of wine weighs less than the commercial flight limitation for checked luggage. The wine was very secure, and we were relieved to open the tote when we got home from our trip.

A couple of comments: the bright red certainly attracts attention, especially with the quite prominent logo on the top. We were a bit concerned that we would be picked on by airport or customs agents, but we really had no problems other than curiosity. The zipper could be a bit sturdier, and we will see how it holds up. We intend to put it to good use: leaving for California in 2 weeks!

Great idea

This really helps get your wine to where you want to drink it. Glad someone added the padding and the wheels!

Great wine traveler

We searched to locate a good wine traveler at a good price. We purchased the carrier with the cardboard and Styrofoam inserts. We were looking to use for air travel, this was perfect for our use.

Bought this case because I saw it being used by my friend It is what I need to move my wine. Based on her usage and the appearance I rated this item 4 Maybe a 5 after my first usage.

Wine Check

We were able to transport a mixed case of wine home to Ohio from California with no trouble. All was intact. Found that the case would flip to its bottom if I wasn't careful and pulled up to much when pulling the wine check on its wheels. There was no damage done when this occurred. It was just a bit unnerving. Simple light design allows for stowing some small (think airline sized) bottles in the spaces in the styrofoam insert. So far after one trip the price seems fair and the item worked as described.

Wine Check

Great idea with sturdy construction but the concept needs some work. Unbroken case came back as checked luggage from Europe thru several airports with several rebookings and reroutings in the baggage areas. That being said I might have had a little different idea if I had to do all the handling myself---the carry handles work fine but the wheels really need to be on all 4 corners to be of much value as just having them on 2 corners makes things real cumbersome. The inside is basically a serviceable cardboard wine case with a styrofoam liner that holds standard sized 750 ml bottles or possibly 1 liter bottles of a comparable height. Don't plan on returning with a case of elegant long necked bottles of a Grand Cru from the Alsace as I think those bottles will be too tall. No problem with airline size or weight issues on the 750 ml bottles I checked and I think there is enough leeway to add 2 more wheels with no problem. I'd have been glad to have paid a bit more for that option.
