Loft 400 Beverage Center #25709
When your entertaining setup needs more than a dedicated wine cooler, the Loft 400 Beverage Center handles the full spread. It holds up to 112 cans alongside 8 wine bottles, runs as cold as 36°F and as warm as 68°F, and installs either freestanding or flush under a counter thanks to its front-ducted design. The stainless steel door has a fingerprint-proof coating and reversible hinges, and the double-pane tempered glass keeps the interior temperature stable while still showing off what's inside.
The shelf configuration does the heavy lifting here. Two adjustable deep shelves and one shallow shelf accommodate cans, bottles and mixers in nearly any combination. The rolling metal plate shelf extends fully and accepts both Bordeaux and Burgundy bottles without modification. A touch-key control pad and blue LCD display sit inside the unit, keeping the front face clean, and a keyed door lock adds a layer of security in shared spaces.
Best For
- Stocking a home bar or kitchen island with a full range of chilled beverages alongside a small wine selection
- Under-counter installation in a dining room or wet bar where a flush fit matters
- Keeping service-temperature whites and sparkling wines ready without pulling them from a primary cellar
- A second home or finished basement where one unit needs to cover wine, beer and canned beverages at once
Placement requirements: 60-85F ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is outside this range, the performance of the unit will be affected.
Size: 23 3/4w x 25d (with handle) 22 1/2d (without handle) x 34 1/4h (in)
Quiet Mode The wine cooler can be put into "quiet mode", which reduces the fan speed by 20-25% and reduces the amount of noise produced by the fans, by pressing and holding the light button (while the display panel is locked from not being touched for 15 seconds) for about 3-5 seconds. The C/F indicator will flash when the unit is in "quiet mode."

- Single-zone cooling, 36°F–68°F: One temperature zone controls the entire cabinet. This is not a dual-zone unit, so it works best when you’re storing beverages that share a serving temperature rather than simultaneously aging reds and chilling whites at separate set points.
- Rolling wine shelf with full extension: The wine shelf rolls out completely on a metal plate rather than sliding, which matters when pulling wide-shouldered Burgundy bottles from the back row without disturbing the others.
- Front-ducted ventilation: All airflow enters and exits through the front grille, which means the unit can be built flush into cabinetry without requiring side or rear clearance. No gap needed between the back of the unit and the cabinet wall.
- Placement ambient range of 60°F–80°F: Performance is rated for this ambient range only. Garages, unconditioned basements or outdoor enclosures that fall outside this band will affect the unit’s ability to hold set temperature.
- Requires a 15-amp dedicated circuit: This is not a standard plug-in-anywhere appliance. Plan for a dedicated 115V/60Hz circuit at the installation location.
- R600a refrigerant: Isobutane refrigerant runs at lower operating pressure than older refrigerants, which translates to quieter operation and lower energy draw compared to R134a systems.
- Stainless steel door with fingerprint-proof coating and reversible hinges to accommodate left or right swing based on installation layout
- Door lock with two keys included
- UL / ETL certified

What These Specs Mean
- 15-Amp Dedicated Circuit: The unit cannot share a circuit with other appliances — a separate breaker line is required, which must be accounted for during any built-in or under-counter installation.
PLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS
- This appliance is designed for free standing installation or can be recessed into cabinetry.
- The wine cellar should be placed in a location where the ambient temperature is between 60-85°F. If the ambient temperature is outside this range, the performance of the unit may be affected.
- Place your wine cellar on a flat, solid floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To level your wine cellar, adjust the front leveling leg at the bottom of the wine cellar.
- When moving your wine cellar, please do not incline it more than 45 degrees.
- Locate the wine cellar away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption.
- Avoid locating the unit in damp areas.
- Plug the wine cellar into a dedicated (for this appliance only), properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (grounding) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or electrical grounding should be directed to a certified electrician or authorized product service center.
Can the Loft 400 Beverage Center be installed as a built-in under-counter unit?
A: Yes. The unit is front-ducted, which means it can be installed either as a freestanding unit or flush under a counter as a built-in. Dimensions are 23¾" wide x 22½" deep (without handle) x 34¼" tall. The handle adds 2½" to the depth, so account for that if flush-fitting into cabinetry.
What are the electrical requirements, and does it need a dedicated circuit?
A: The Loft 400 runs on 115V / 60Hz and requires a 15-amp dedicated circuit. This is a hard requirement, not a recommendation — sharing a circuit with other appliances can trip breakers or affect cooling performance. Plan your installation accordingly.
Is this a single-zone or dual-zone unit, and what temperatures can it hold?
A: The Loft 400 is a single-zone beverage center with a temperature range of 36°F to 68°F. It is not designed to simultaneously maintain separate temperatures for red and white wine. If you need true dual-zone control to store reds and whites at different temperatures at the same time, you would need a different model.
What is the actual capacity, and will it fit large-format wine bottles?
A: Rated capacity is 8 wine bottles plus 112 cans. The wine shelf is a rolling (not sliding) full-extension metal plate shelf that accommodates both Bordeaux and Burgundy bottle shapes. The remaining shelving — two adjustable deep shelves and one shallow shelf — handles cans and other beverages of varying heights.
What is the warranty on the Loft 400 Beverage Center?
A: The unit carries a 1-year warranty on parts and labor and a 5-year warranty on the compressor. The extended compressor coverage is relevant given that the compressor is the most expensive component to replace.
Does the room temperature affect how this unit performs?
A: Yes. The Loft 400 is rated for an ambient temperature range of 60°F to 80°F. Installing it in a space that runs hotter or colder than this range — such as an uninsulated garage, outdoor bar or very cold basement — will impact cooling performance and may prevent the unit from holding its set temperature reliably.

A Great Addition To The Kitchen...Folks at IWA were wonderful
Recently renovated our kitchen and needed something to handle a few bottles of wine storage and cold drinks. The Loft 400 not only offers the perfect combination, but also looks great. Just as important, the folks at IWA were great to deal with: courteous, informative, helpful and reliable. We look forward to the next purchase..

The Loft 400 Beverage Center is very attractive with the glass door and LED lights inside. It cools well and looks beautiful with the Loft 250 dual-zone wine cooler. IWA have been great to deal with.
