- The wine cellar should be placed in a location where the ambient temperature is between 60-80°F. If the ambient temperature is outside this range, the performance of the unit may be affected.
- Place your wine cellar on a flat, solid floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To level your wine cellar, adjust the front leveling leg at the bottom of the wine cellar.
- When moving your wine cellar, please do not incline it more than 45 degrees.
- Locate the wine cellar away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit to perform improperly.
- Avoid locating the unit in damp areas.
- Plug the wine cellar into a dedicated (for this appliance only), properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (grounding) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or electrical grounding should be directed to a certified electrician or authorized product service center.

Great looking and functional cooler
by Bruce
Like the no handle look, the sturdy slide out drawers, the textured drawer so bottles stay in place, the silent operation, the ambient lighting, in short- the overall appearance. Looks like more expensive models.
Great value for money

Just got this installed. Very happy with the quality - we love the fact that the shelves are on on ball bearing rollers, and therefore glide silently when you want to pull out and look at your wine. This was the number one feature that we were looking for to replace an older fridge that held bottled on wire racks. Compared to other similar wine fridges, this one seems to provide a much nicer unit for similar price.
Noisy Unit
by Victor
Purchased this unit to replace a very old 40 bottle unit. I am a big IWA fan. I own a larger Transtherm unit that I purchased years ago and it is a great unit. This one on the other hand is far noisier than I expected and it seems to run all the time. My temps are 50 and 56. This unit is in my office away from any direct sunlight or heat source yet it is always on trying to maintain temps. Very disappointed especially at this price.
The entire process was silky smooth!

I purchased the Loft 400 Frameless model to replace a 19 yr old unit.
This is my second Wine storage unit from IWA and the process went silky smooth. From discussing my needs to delivery all of the people I dealt with were great!
The unit was easy to place, level, start and set the temps I wanted.
Good installation instructions. Good Service. Good price.
I will buy again from IWA.

Rating: 4. We had a damaged shipment. After discussions with the company they made a favorable settlement for both parties.

Wine Cooler Review

This is my second purchase from IWA. Went to the actually store in Petaluma. The fellow who helped me was exceedingly helpful and informative. He took the time to review my needs and the loft 400 capacity and reliability. He answered all the various and many questions I had regrading the loft vs other similar refrigerators from other makers.
The loft itself is performing as advertised. It actually does fit the max capacity even with Burgundian style bottles. Only problem is with champagne bottles(does require removal of one rack if you want a rack of the bubbly). Does a great dual zone chill and the temp is accurate. The fridge itself is beautiful (pleasant blue/purple back lighting) and in particularly runs quiet(for reference I have it set at 52 and 58 degrees), has great cycling/insulation so doesn't turn on often and is much more quiet then the standard kitchen refrigerator in the other side of my kitchen. Would buy again.
