Unlike time-consuming decanters, Vinturi's aerator makes the decanting process fast, easy, and convenient. Simply hold the aerator over a glass and, as you pour the wine through, the proper amount of air mixes into the wine. The result is a better bouquet, richer flavor, and smoother finish. Vinturi's aerator is dishwasher-safe and comes with a no-drip stand and travel pouch.
The Vinturi now includes a removable mesh screen to catch sediment and particles before the wine passes through the aerator.

We've been using the aerator for a couple of weeks - we're late adopters! - but it does make a difference, really smoothing out young (or cheap) wine. My wife also likes the sound it makes when wine is poured through the aerator. We visit Sonoma/Napa a lot, and many tasting rooms use the Vinturi aerator, but we selected this one because it feels good, it's the right size, and not too ornate or complicated. Cheers!

I was impressed this aerator used in Napa Valley wine tastings. On to second bottle with it and I'm not disappointed! Highly recommend to red wine drinkers, & would make a great gift.
