High Rise Wine Lockers

IWA Design Center was asked to design a communal wine locker storage in a high rise lounge for condo tenants in Phoenix, AZ.

Working closely with the developer VP, Property Manager, Project Manager and Architect, IWA developed lockers made from premium redwood, the wood species best known for being resistant to warping and mold, and finished the lockers in a dark walnut stain plus three coat furniture grade lacquer finish.

Communal wine rooms and lockers in high-rise living is growing in popularity, and has become a sought-after amenity. The project was enthusiastically received by the high rise occupants, who appreciated the individually-keyed lockers and racking for their wine collections.
