Stolzle Revolution Classic Wine Set of 6 #1837

After using Riedel for over a decade we wanted something different and chose these for their stylish look. We had used them in restaurants and liked the feel of them. Ordered a dozen in each size and we love them. IWA was outstanding - we ordered them on a Monday evening and the glasses were on our front porch by Wednesday morning.

Great value glass, and the seam isn’t distracting. I dropped one as I was unpacking it, and the stem didn’t break – they’re solid construction. They make the table look great, I use them all the time.

These glasses are great for everyday. They are stylish and have a thin rim, which I prefer. Normally inexpensive glasses have much thicker rims. I purchased a dozen glasses; they are a great value.

We have used about every wine stem brand out there. So now we have one, two or three glasses of each type. It was time to buy a set again. We purchased these because of their durability. They are solidly made and look like they will last thru most abuse. The glasses have a barely discernible lip on them which is nice. The bowels are smaller than I had hoped; not enough swirling room. Or, I just like a larger glass of wine. The stems are tall but have an obvious seam in them. We use these daily. So far, we haven't seen any permanent red staining.

We ordered these glasses after using them in a wonderful tasting room in the Finger Lakes. They are very affordable and sturdy, but elegant. They are deep enough that we can use them for both whites and reds. We can easily swirl and get the wonderful nose of the wine. We will probably buy more.
