My go-to wine glasses for summer

We serve cold white wine on our deck overlooking a creek in these beautiful glasses. They are simple and lovely.

Too bad!

I have just bought my second set of the Mardi Gras tumblers. I bought the first set years ago, and over time they succumbed to breakage. I had my favorites among the various designs. Alas, this new set is not the charming, delicate glass that I remember (and I still have two of the old ones, so I am able to compare). At some point in the manufacturing process, the glass was thickened, and some of the tumblers now look like they have come from a mold--especially the one with the dots on the outside. Too bad! I am going to relegate them to the bathroom.
