The IWA Design Center team was contacted about a custom wine cabinet project for an upscale restaurant that would be a dramatic showpiece while also cooling wine effectively.

Since there was a quick turnaround timeline for delivery, Le Cache Semi-Custom Wine Cabinets were provided, to avoid lengthy custom racking lead times.

Custom modifications to the cabinets included adding a glass back, to allow the wine to be seen from one dining room to another, matching the stain to surrounding millwork, and adjusting the cabinet profiles to be installed in a recessed area.

The four cabinets are cooled with the precision of CellarPro's 1800H Houdini systems, which are specially designed for shallow depth glass cabinets. They use energy-efficient variable-speed fans for super-quiet operation, while providing an ideal environment for wine bottles.
