Alpha Omega Winery in Napa Valley blends Old World style with New World techniques. Situated in picturesque St. Helena, near the Mayacamas Mountains filled with natural beauty and farmlands, the winery welcomes guests with contemporary elegance in its patio, fountains and private tasting rooms.

In the design of its wine cellar, the winery’s goal was to create a striking yet functional custom wine cellar that could store and display a variety of wines, and provide easy access without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. The winery also wanted to create a custom wine cabinet to be used for serving wine, which would require dedicated refrigeration to maintain serving temperatures, and needed to fit within a large 18 foot tall pre-installed steel frame.

The refrigerated custom wine cabinet uses a CellarPro 3200VSi mounted at the top of the wine cabinet to maintain proper storage and serving conditions inside the cabinet. Finding a way to duct the airflow within the cabinet was a challenge that required close coordination between IWA’s design team and the winery during the planning and construction phases.

With guidance from IWA's design center, Alpha-Omega chose rich white oak with a Saman Clay finish giving it a sophisticated touch to incorporate with its surroundings. Surrounding the tower on the mezanine level are long cabinets which wrap around the balcony. The cabinets highlight Alpha Omega's wines with LED lighting.
