I ordered this decanter (large) along with the Stainless Steel Decanter Funnel Set and they work very well together! The "volcano" feature in the bottom is unique and makes decanting red wines quite distinctive! I also ordered the Eisch Decanter Ball Stopper (large), but it is backordered and I will review it when I receive it.

I selected this decanter for red wine after many years of broken decanters. This is exactly what I wanted: affordable, strong enough for frequent use, and attractive. I liked the quality of this decanter so much that I also purchased the smaller, narrower version, which I use for water.
