Taking inspiration from the golden age of cocktails and streamlined simplicity of Art Deco architecture, the smoking box is both beautiful and functional. To use, insert wood chips and charcoal into the battery-operated smoking gun, pull the trigger and light the chips on fire. As smoke fills the smoking box, your drink becomes infused with an inimitable smokey flavor. The longer the drink is smoked, the more flavor gets imparted to the drink and the glass.

This smoking box is so cool! It's surprising how much flavor the smoke transfers to the cocktail - who knew?

I met Charles Joly last year, and got to taste one of his smoked drinks for the first time - fantastic! His advice was to smoke the drink for just a few seconds - the point was to accent the drink, not overpower it. He also told me that he uses charcoal plus wood in the smoking gun - I didn't see charcoal in the product instructions, so I thought I'd pass it along.
