Lamp Oil Performance Tips:
Fill the bottle halfway with clean pebbles, then fill the remaining 2/3 of the bottle with lamp oil. Do not fill to the top.
Place the candle in the bottle with lamp oil and let it soak for 20-30 minutes before lighting the wick. Remember that the fire burns the fuel, not the wick - so the wick must be wet when lit.
For best results, wicks should not be exposed more than 1/16�� to provide a nice flame.
Contaminated wicks will result in poor performance, so keep the wick away from water. Additionally, if you change fuels, first dry the wick and empty the bottle to ensure that the fuels are not mixed.
Instructions:
Fill a wine bottle halfway with clean pebbles, then fill the remaining 2/3 of the bottle with lamp oil. Do not fill to the top.
Insert the ceramic candle and wick into the bottle and let the wick soak in the lamp oil for 20-30 minutes before lighting the wick. Remember that the fire burns the lamp oil, not the wick - so the wick must be wet with lamp oil when lit.
