What font options are available for the laser etching?
A: There are five font styles to choose from: Classic, Deco, Script, Modern and Willow. The Willow font (shown in the product photos) has a flowing, handwritten look. Classic is a clean serif. Each font etches directly into the acacia wood, so the result looks like it belongs on the board rather than added after the fact.
How much text can I put on the board?
A: The board accommodates two lines of personalization, up to 25 characters per line. That's enough room for a family name plus a sentiment (“The Smiths” / “Cheers!”), a name plus a date, or a short phrase across both lines.
How long does it take to receive a personalized board?
A: Processing takes 2–3 weeks before the order ships. Because the board is laser-etched to order, it cannot be expedited — plan accordingly for weddings, housewarmings or holiday gifting.
Can I return the board if I'm not happy with how it looks?
A: Personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned. Each board is also hand-cut from natural acacia, so grain pattern, color tone and minor markings will vary from piece to piece — that variation is expected, not a defect.
What are the dimensions and how much serving space does it offer?
A: The board measures 22¾" wide x 7¾" deep x ¾" thick and weighs 3 lbs. The paddle shape puts most of that length to work as serving space, while the handle keeps one end clear for gripping and hanging. It's a generous size for a spread of cheeses, charcuterie and accompaniments for 4–6 guests without feeling oversized on a table.
Is the surface safe for food and is it easy to care for?
A: The surface is food safe. Like all solid wood boards, it should be hand-washed and dried promptly — do not submerge in water or put it in a dishwasher. Occasional conditioning with a food-safe mineral oil will keep the acacia from drying out and help maintain the rich dark color over time.
