CellarPro 2000VS Duct KIT Cold (P/N 27104). This duct kit is recommended for installations when the evaporator will be located in a conditioned environment, and is compatible with the following cooling units:

  • CellarPro 2000VSi / 2000VSx

Each duct is designed to attach to insulated 8-inch ducting (included) for cold air exhaust to, and return air from, the wine cellar, up to 50 equivalent feet (25 feet per opening). The exhaust exits from the top, and the intake returns from the cold side.

Kit includes:

  • Cold-side intake and exhaust duct hoods
  • 50 feet (2 x 25 feet) of 8-inch insulated R-6 ducting
  • Two 6-inch to 8-inch increasers
  • Bottle probe with 10-foot cord
  • Remote control display kit

Important notes:

  • The high fan speed setting MUST be used anytime the cooling unit is ducted
  • The size of the ducting must not be reduced or restricted
  • Use of a custom duct hood will void the manufacturer's warranty

Please refer to the following resources before purchasing this kit:

  • This kit may only be used in conditioned, low humidity environments. Use our Low RH vs High RH Duct Kit Chart to determine whether this kit is appropriate for your installation. In some cases, the high-humidity duct hood may be required, and in some cases, the conditions are too extreme for any of our cold-side duct kits.
  • Use our ducting heat loss table and our duct correction table to correctly adjust the sizing of your cooling unit, because ducting will add to the thermal load of the cellar.
  • Refer to our Bottle Probe Operating Instructions to correctly set the cooling unit depending on how you're using the Bottle Probe

This cold side kit is designed to work with CellarPro 2000VS cooling units, allowing the cold air intake and exhaust to be ducted up to 50 equivalent feet (25 feet per opening).

Please note: the high-humidity duct kit must be used if the cooling unit will be installed in a warm, moderate, unconditioned or high humidity environment. Our high-humidity kit includes insulation on the hood, inside the unit and on its face to prevent moisture buildup and damage.
