Bought these for my daughter for Christmas. They are exactly what I expected...large mouthed for serving Sangria and the fruits it usually contains. I know she will love having them to serve her guests at summer gatherings around her pool.
Great glasses for making Spanish-style gin and tonics

I recently visited my daughter who was studying abroad in Spain. She had picked up a taste for Spanish-style gin and tonics which I heartily embraced. Spaniards love the drink and bars there serve a great many variations on the basic recipe. Most are served in large glasses like these filled with ice. I've not been able to find anything like it in the states and was very pleased to see that these "sangria" glasses are the same as those sold in Europe for serving Spanish gin and tonics. The glasses are very high quality and elegant in design.
