Laser Etched Oak Whisky Barrel (P/N 24412). Handcrafted from American White Oak wood and reinforced steel bands, this whisky barrel is more than just decor!
Use the barrel to age your whiskey and infuse it with our whisky-making kit for Kentucky Bourbon, Tennessee Whiskey and Highland Malt Scotch (whisky kit sold separately #19569). After the whisky has been aged, serve it through the spigot, and use the cleaning kit when you're finished.

Before Using Your Barrel
To cure the wood, seal the barrel and prevent leaks, follow the instructions below before using your barrel.
- Tightly insert the spigot by placing a cloth over it and gently hammering in.
- Fill the barrel with hot water and insert the bung
- Let the barrel sit for 3-5 days to cure the wood
- Empty the water, then fill with your choice of spirits.
This American oak whisky barrel can be used to age whisky, scotch, bourbon, rum, cognac, wine, tequila, brandy or any spirit that would benefit from aging and natural oak flavor.

Superb gift
I just wanted to thank you for the great personalized barrel that I bought for my college buddy, who turned 60! He was so surprised and happy to get it. It was such a nice gift to give and also to celebrate our 40 years of friendship! I wish we could get your products here in Finland! We certainly have a market for you!

Leaky barrel
This is the second barrel. The first one leaked. The new one is perfect. Make sure you prepare the barrel as soon as you get it to make sure that it doesn't leak. If wait too long before you report back to IWA it is not guaranteed.
