Cork Pops (P/N 12237). Using a cartridge of inert propellant, Cork Pops pushes out the cork-simple and easy! Simply insert the needle through the cork and press the top of the opener to gently push the cork up and out. Comes complete with one propellant cartridge good for 80 to 100 bottles.

This is the best way to get old corks out so that they don't fall apart. Great for old Port if you have don't have a saber!

I ordered this for my wine loving friend for her birthday. I thought I could find an opener like this locally. There were none available at area stores.

Empty cartridge

One of two cork pop cartridges worked. Empty empty!!! . IWA won't replace as too much time passed (delayed Christmas gift)!!! Disappointed

I have some older vintages that had some corks that crumbled a bit so to avoid having to strain bits of cork I tried this. It worked pretty well but the gas pressure was too low by the time I opened my 7th or 8th bottle. Other than that it worked remarkably well.
