I bought this replacement in hopes it would fit my old opener that had failed, but if not as a replacement for the one I had recently purchased from IWA. But indeed it fit the old one perfectly, so I now have two of these very nice wine bottle openers.
I think I am good for my life time now.

Perfect direct replacement for the original part. Far better than spending $130 for a whole new opener.

It was so simple to get this replacement part. The people at IWA knew exactly what was needed, and I had the part within a couple of days. There is even a video online showing how to replace the part. So much easier than having to send the whole unit to the manufacturer for repairs.
